Blogger Statistics- Our Blogger statistics show that we had a total of 790 all time page views. The key to writing your blog is the title of the blog and the written content. Lydia’s blog attracted far more viewers than the other blogs due to her use of letters and symbols. 55% of user operating systems were done using windows, followed by IPhone at 16%. Referring sites and URLs both came from Facebook. I found it very interesting that we had people looking at our blog not only from the US but also from Poland, Ukraine, and Portugal.

Facebook Insights-We were not quite as consistent on our FB page as we were on our blog. I think we could have made more of an impression if we shared more of the content that we created on our blog. Looking at FB insights the statistics showed that some of our posts had a greater reach than others and the engagement varied. On facebook we tried to post things to keep people interested for example, “ a thought for the day.” We wanted to keep people engaged and not keep posting repetitive information. We didn't have a great following but I think if we would have had the advertising budget we could have improved by by boosting posts.

Google Analytics-Google analytics was a little difficult because for some reason we couldn't get it to link to the blog initially but once we got that rolling then we got to see the actual analytics throughout the semester. This was the first time that any of our group members have used analytics so that was definitely a challenge. We had a 52% bounce rate, after 6 weeks a 33.3% user retention rate, and users did not have a consistent time of day that they were on the blog but Friday and Saturday had more users than throughout the week.

In conclusion we found this assignment to be very challenging. We really had to put time and effort into what our topics were and did extensive research to create the content in our blogs. We wrote a total of 23 blogs and found each and every post different and learned so much not only from our individual posts but from the posts our group members as well. We learned how to work together as a team and schedule posts into the blog. This was a simulation of how you would converse in a real business environment.

Thank you to everyone who followed us throughout the semester. We hope that the information we provided was engaging and helped you incorporate these ideas into your social media accounts. Have a safe and happy holiday season!
